ANGI SONG - I'VE NEVER STOPPED RUNNING FROM THE HORROR OF EXISTING IN STILLNESS, KNOWING WHAT I KNOW
This is a pdf of a book that exists in two copies only (!) We spotted photos of one of them on instagram and became really, really curious about it. It had this melancholic / mysterious aura to it and seemed like some sort of an emo movie to us. Very subtle one! It's also called I’ve never stopped running from the horror of existing in stillness, knowing what I know and, come on, how can you not be drawn to a title like this? Intrigued, we reached Angi Song, who is the author of this "little book" as she calls it, and when we saw it and started to talk about it, it turned out that we were not wrong. The images in the book are stills of videos she made during her trips to Taihu Lake, China with her mother and Chiangmai, Thailand with a friend. Angi says that it's her "late coming-of-age book" and maybe that's why it resonates with us so deeply. This kind of photos are always the purest!
